Question banks

A managed collection of questions from which exams and practice sessions are drawn.

What is a question bank?

A question bank is a managed collection of questions that you draw on to build exams, mocks and practice sessions. Rather than writing questions afresh each time, you maintain a growing, tagged library and assemble assessments from it.

A well-run question bank is the foundation of scalable assessment: questions can be reused, randomised, versioned and improved over time based on their question statistics. The discipline of building and maintaining one is called item banking. Synap's question banks power practice, mocks and live exams alike.
