Practice exams (mocks)

A low-stakes run-through of an exam under realistic conditions, used to prepare and to reduce exam-day anxiety.

What is a practice exam?

A practice exam — or mock — is a rehearsal of the real thing. It mirrors the actual exam's format, timing and rules, but doesn't count towards the final result. Candidates use mocks to check their readiness, get used to the exam experience, and calm exam-day nerves.

The closer a mock feels to the real exam — ideally in a provider-accurate interface — the more useful it is. Mocks also generate valuable learner analytics, showing exactly where a candidate still needs work. Synap builds mocks from the same question banks as live exams.
