What are user groups?
User groups let you organise learners into named groups — a class, a cohort, an intake, a team — so you can act on many people at once instead of one by one. Enrol a whole group in an exam or assignment, set a deadline for them, control what they can access, and report on them together.
Groups are the practical backbone of running assessment at scale. They make it easy to give different cohorts different deadlines on the same assignment, or to keep audiences cleanly separated within a portal.
