Platform

Portal

A Synap term for an organisation's own instance of the platform — its branded, self-contained environment.

What is a portal?

In Synap, a portal is an organisation's own instance of the platform — its self-contained environment, with its own users, content, branding, settings and data. When an organisation adopts Synap, they get a portal that is theirs to run.

A portal can be fully white-labelled to an organisation's brand and domain, and larger organisations can run multiple sub-portals beneath it to keep distinct audiences separate. Think of the portal as the top-level home for everything an organisation does on Synap.
