Revision

Reviewing and reinforcing material already studied, in the run-up to an assessment.

What is revision?

Revision is the process of going back over material you've already studied to reinforce it before an assessment. It's distinct from first-time study: the goal is consolidation and recall, not initial understanding.

The most effective revision is active — testing yourself rather than re-reading — and spaced out over time rather than crammed. That's why flashcards, practice questions and spaced learning are such staples of good revision. Synap brings them together in one revision and exam prep experience.
