What is predictive analytics?
Predictive analytics uses patterns in historical data to anticipate what's likely to happen next — for example, flagging which learners are at risk of not passing, so support can be targeted before it's too late.
In assessment, prediction is only as good as the signals behind it: mastery over time, practice activity, and how a learner performs on questions of known difficulty. Rich, well-tagged learner analytics are the foundation — the more granular and reliable the data, the more useful any forecast becomes.
