# Group content

Group Content pages show the Exams, Collections and Assignments connected to the cohort.

| Page | Relationship to the group |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Exams | The group is part of the Exam’s candidate access or delivery |
| Collections | Members can access the Collection through the group |
| Assignments | A Course has been delivered to this group as tracked work |

Use group delivery when the same content belongs to a cohort. New members can then inherit the relevant access instead of requiring a separate change on every profile. The exact effect of joining late depends on the content: for example, an active Assignment can create a new learner record with its own relative deadline.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Before removing content or members, check work in progress. Access, an existing Attempt and a historical learner record are related but not identical, and removal may affect what the learner can continue to open.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://synap.ac/docs/platform/user-groups/group-content.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
