# Exports

The Exports page provides downloadable data produced by the Assignment. The available export depends on the activities used; for example, an Assignment containing Surveys can expose a Survey response export.

Exports are snapshots. Record the Assignment, Course version, filters and export time when the file will be used outside Synap. Learner identity, attributes and submitted responses may be personal or sensitive information, so keep the file in an approved location and share it only with the intended recipients.

An export does not update when learners continue working. Return to the Assignment and create a new export when current status matters.
