How the main areas fit together
Library items are the reusable building blocks. Collections, courses and exams arrange or deliver those building blocks in different ways. An assignment connects a course to a User group. Each student's activity creates progress records or attempts, which are then available from the relevant User, User group, Assignment, Exam, Quiz or Collection.
Use this Product Reference when you want to understand a Synap page, setting or feature. The next page, Getting help, explains when the Academy, API Reference, documentation assistant or support chat will be more useful.
